Christi Iacono-Owner

Christi (RYT-500 Hr.+) is the founder and owner of In Rhythms Yoga and has been practicing a variety of yoga styles since the 1990's. The transformative and healing aspects of yoga, have been a predominant force in her life for over two decades.  Implementing a personal daily yoga practice, and her dedication towards studying "whole-body health" has helped her transform many aspects of her life, including, physical and mental strength and flexibility while helping her realize her dharma or purpose, to share the gift of yoga with others. 

She and her husband have a neighborhood studio in Clairemont, SD. It is a shared space where healing, growth, and connection happen. It is a hidden jewel in Clairemont, SD. All level of students are welcome and encouraged to join.

Christi started her teaching journey in the August of 2011, with her 200 hr. certification. Since then, she has completed Level 2, Hot Sequence Intensive Training, as well as her 500 hr. Advanced Training at Prana, La Jolla with Gerhard Gessner, and YogaWorks. She received her Aerial Yoga certification by team teachers, Tracy Gittens (TMac) and Olivia Cecchettini. She furthered her learning by receiving her Happy Back Certification with Rachel Krentzman, RPT and completed Rachel Krentzman's 9 month mentorship program.  Happy Back, Yoga Walls Class is a powerful healing tool to focus on creating more spinal health, including recreating the natural curvature of the spine while releasing muscle tension and compression that can cause misalignment and disfunction in the body. Back Class focuses on the mind-body connection. The class focuses on exploring the "inner-landscape" and how being unconscious or unaware of our inner-state, can affect and manifest in our lives causing pain and suffering.

She has worked with renown teacher, Jason Cull and socalyogawalls, and has yoga walls installed in her home studio, In Rhythms Yoga. Christi is dedicated to learning more to serve her students as a knowledgeable teacher and resource. 

Christi is dedicated to "doing the work" for herself and her students. In August of 2017 completed a 9 month, therapeutic yoga, mentorship program,  with Rachel Krentzman, RPT, E-RYT, where she deepened her level of understanding of the tradition of yoga for herself and her students. Rachel Krentman is the author of "Yoga for a Happy Back: A Teacher's Guide to Spinal Health through Yoga Therapy."

Christi was an active participant in  the 2012 Yoga Alliance Leadership Conference for Yoga Teachers in order to serve different populations, including, kids, the round population (by Tina Veer) and clients with special needs and injuries (Baxter Bell, Yoga for Healthy Aging).

Christi teaches kids yoga as well. Trained by Jodi Komitor through Next Generation Yoga, she  is constantly inspired, invigorated and humbled by teaching children. Christi has dedicated herself to being a yoga teacher and ongoing student of the ancient philosophy of yoga.

Lisa Attinasi

Lisa has been practicing yoga for 25+ years and teaching yoga since 2012.  Her journey began in nursing school to help relieve stress and sustain focus.  This inspired a life long interest in exploring how wellness is enhanced through yoga and meditation.

Lisa’s teaching style reflects her practice of Raja yoga, Hatha yoga and Happy Back Yoga. Off the mat, Lisa grooves with her amazing family and loves to travel near and far. A recent pilgrimage to India encouraged a deeper understanding of yoga and commitment to her daily meditation practice .
She is very excited to be a part of the welcoming community at In Rhythms Yoga and is grateful for this opportunity for growth.

Erin Ferguson

Erin's introduction to yoga began over 10 years ago.

As yoga began to transform her life, she looked for ways to deepen her practice. In 2007, she took Yoga One's 100 hour teacher training course with Amy Caldwell and Diana Beardsley and in 2014, she completed Yoga One's 200 hour certificate. In summer of 2015, Erin completed, Rachel Krentzman’s Happy Back Training, including yoga walls certification. Happy Back is a spine specific class with a therapeutic approach to healing the body and mind.

Erin's teaches an approachable but challenging alignment-based flow with an emphasis on conscious sequencing. Her Healthy Back Training, Yoga Walls class is consistent of mindful sequencing towards bringing health and youthfulness to the spine, including the use of the yoga walls for added traction, inversions and in order to restore the body and mind.

She hopes to help others develop body awareness and a balance between flexibility and strength, as well as connection with their most honest self.

Kyla Smith

Kyla Smith has been practicing yoga for about 5 years. She found her passion for yoga through Power Vinyasa style classes, and since then, has broadened her experiences through multiple styles of yoga. Kyla enjoys building a balance between strength and inner peace within the mind, body, and soul, through creative vinyasa style sequences. She completed her 200 Hour YTT at Happy-U Namaste in San Diego, and is excited to continue her journey as both a student and teacher of yoga. 
Pamela Godde

Pamela Godde (RYT500) is a long-time yoga student passionate about the rich tradition, science and philosophy of yoga. She complete her 200hr training through Yoga Alliance and her 300 hr through Yoga Works, mentoring under Shauna McKay with an emphases on pranayama for children. She has deepened her practice and teaching through extensive formal study of the Yoga Sutras, the Mastery of Life training, and certifications in Happy Back/Yoga Walls, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga for Cancer. She has mentored under Rachel Krentzman in therapeutic yoga, focusing on the koshas, including the relation between the physical anatomy and the subtle body. Her classes incorporate pranayama and meditation, with an emphasis on slow and mindful movement as well as alignment to create a deeper but more sustainable practice. 

Introduction to Meditation with Jennifer Pennell
Join Jennifer Pennell for an Introduction to Meditation.  She will go over some fundamentals of meditation and how to know if you are really meditating.  She will then lead the class through a short guided meditation.
This is an immersion for those curious about meditationthose who have a meditation practice and want to know how to go deeper.

Jennifer has been engaged in meditation and related practices since 2008 and has been acting as a conduit between people and their inner landscapes for over fifteen years.  She is an IST (Inner Space Technique) Practitioner, trained through the Clairvision School of Meditation and specializes in working with moms and professional women who are challenged with anxiety.  Through meditation-based techniques, she helps them feel normal in their body and regain passion in their life, businesses and relationships.   In her former life, Jennifer spent over a decade evaluating and counseling executives on their careers.  She’s happiest when she’s meditating.  You can find out more about jennifer at:
Gong Meditation with Teri Wilder
Teri is a master of music and meditation on a mission to introduce the world to the power of songs and gongs that help to de-stress, boost productivity and creativity, and support balance and well-being.

As a singer/songwriter, Teri knew about the positive connection between music and lowering stress, and in 2013 she added the ancient gong to her workshops and performances. Used for centuries as a meditative tool, its resonant sounds calm the frenetic monkey mind. In fact, 65% of people who “got gonged” reported being at least 75% more productive after the session than at any other point in the day. A Wilder benefit!

Having studied music and theater at the American Conservatory of Music and Columbia College of Chicago, and received her Sound Healing Certificate from Global Institute of Sound Healing, Teri blends the science of music with the meditative benefits of songs and sounds into perfect harmony. As a performer and sound healer, Teri has brought joy and a reduction in stress to hundreds of audiences.
